PHILOSOPHY

Her teaching and directing philosophy stands on the shoulders of practitioners Stella Adler, Brené Brown, and Naphtali Fields. She believes that in order to become good artists, we must first be good people that experience life deeply. Only when we are fully vulnerable and in pursuit of balance will we find the courage to create truths.

"Theater as an endeavor and an experience teaches us vital attributes of the Christian faith and what it means to be fully human, fully alive, and present, created in the image of God, who is always present."

- Performing the Sacred.

“I didn't find my truth in theater until I left the theater and started playing in the dirt. Only then did I understand what my teacher meant when she said “Be a rose.”

It's not about what we do, it's about how loved we make people feel while we are doing it.
